Inflation Speed and Portablility

When we tested did inflation speed of these pumps, we found that both pumps performed well. The Airbank Puffer Pro can reach up to 20 PSI, which covers all paddle boards and inflatable kayaks as well as air tents. This includes racing SUPs such as the Bluefin Nitro, which require higher pressures, and not all paddle board pumps can handle. 

 

The Outdoormaster Dolphin pump also maxes out at 20 PSI but we found that during testing, this pump took a little longer to reach the higher pressure. When testing this one with the Bluefin Cruise, it took roughly 14 minutes to get to 20 PSI. So, although, it does reach the same max, we didn’t feel it was as efficient.

Ease of Use

Both pumps feature auto shut-off technology, so you don’t have to hover over them while they work. Set the desired PSI, press start, and the pump will do the rest.
